Dianne Tipping

Chair - Export Council Australia

Dianne has been the Chair of the Export Council of Australia for 7 years, and has a long and varied career in international trade promotion and facilitation. She has over 40 years of experience in both business ownership and international project management. Dianne is the founder and Managing Director of Excon International Pty Ltd, a consultancy that focuses on facilitating movement of goods across borders, and managing international projects on behalf of Australian exporters, since 1982.

Through the Export Council of Australia, Dianne has passionately worked with Australian businesses to build their export capability and achieve their global ambitions. She has worked extensively with government and industry to promote open trade and boost Australia's international competitiveness. Her experience has extended to frequent guest lecturing on international trade at Australia's top universities.

Ken Borchardt

Ken Borchardt, was the owner and winemaker of Red Earth Estate in Dubbo from 2001 to 2017. 

During this time Red Earth Estate was a focal point of wine in the Dubbo region, receiving numerous accolades. The quality wines available included Riesling, Verdelho, Frontignac, Moscato, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache. 

What few people know is that Ken also managed to grow a thriving export business, selling wine made in Dubbo overseas, very successfully.
